Die Doppelschnepfe wurde bisher 2 Mal am Klingnauer Stausee nachgewiesen. Je 1 Ind. am 17. August 1958 und am 10. April 1974.
Doppelschnepfen brüten u.a. in Skandinavien, Weissrussland, Polen und im Baltikum.
